It is so important that corporations participate in the maintaining and expansion of natural habitats, Luciano. Unfortunately, it's rare here in the USA where profits are the only focus.
I am fortunate to live in a city and county that take nature preservation very seriously. We have a heavy tree canopy and lots of walking, biking, and hiking trails and many parks. But, my city and county are constantly under attack from the builders who want to slash-cut forests to construct more apartment buildings and offices and to create neighborhoods of gargantuan McMansions. That's what happened in South and Central Florida and now those areas aren't much more than shore-to-shore parking lots. My local governments are labeled as "anti-business" and "anti-growth" - when, in reality, they are welcome business and growth but with boundaries and requirements that preserve what makes this area so special.
