It was a fun and refreshing read, Ré, different than most of what I read on Medium and certainly different from what I typically read from you. Your character development was excellent. Thanks for letting me publish it on W&W.

Attention spans tend to be short on Medium. Even a longish poem is passed over. Only articles on current trends or tech, writing how-tos, and long listicles get attention but stories, not so much.
