I've never known such homesickness, Sneha, although my family moved three times during my childhood, although I left home at 16 and moved 900 miles away to live with a distant relative and to live in a place I knew nothing about and started a new school where I knew no one. Even though I left that place at the age of 17 and moved 1,400 miles away - by myself.

I missed some people but not many. I was always glad to leave, glad to get away. Be grateful that you have homesickness, that you miss people and they miss you. I didn't know that.
