I've seen our crows fight with red-tailed hawks. Of course, it takes 2 or 3 crows to overcome one hawk, but I did once see our biggest crow, Carlitos, chase away a hawk by himself. The crows also warn the squirrels and ducks when a predator, like a hawk, fox, or cat, are nearby.
