Jack, how lovely that the group (smaller but significant, nonetheless) was able to get together for a pleasant meal and catch-up conversation, as well as a little Quiddler (a new one for me!).

So much has been lost, canceled, and put on hold because of Covid. My friend Gina and I used to take photography road trips - she drives and I photograph. Last one was November 2019. With both of us fully vaccinated, we started planning one for July but it we were getting daily rains. Not good weather for nature photography. But, guess what? Tomorrow! Tomorrow we are going on a day trip! I haven't been out of Gainesville since - well, since I can't remember when. Both tropical storms threatened but went far west of us. So, weather should be acceptable. So excited!!
