Julia, although I am a fan of old buildings and brings, my favorite of your photos this week is, surprisingly, the laundromat! The symmetry and order of the machines and floor tiles appeal to my OCD side ;)

I haven't been in Alabama in decades. My sister lived in Birmingham for a while in the '70s, and I visited the northern part of the state in the mid-90s.
