Late reading this one, Jack, but thoroughly enjoyed it. In my past life, I was a crocheter as well as a cross-stitcher. Carpal tunnel syndrome retired the cross-stitching but crocheting continued on and off, mostly off. I have a bedspread I’ve been working on for 16 years. Haven’t touched it in a least five. Crocheting a queen-size bedspread on your lap in Florida is hell except during our annual 3-week winter season. Now that my daughter and family are moving to cooler climes, I am contemplating braving the Florida heat to take up crocheting again. Kids want bedspreads and they all want scarves. Still contemplating. May be contemplating for a very long time. Every time I look in my craft supply closet, my 16-year-old unfinished bedspread shoots death lasers at me, daring me to start another project before completing him (her?). Maybe I can send him (her?) to Deb?
