Leonard is such a stately and wise-looking tree. He knows things. American elms do exist here in Florida, Remington, but I more often see Florida Elms, which are puny compared to Leonard and his kin. When I lived in a deeply rural area about 15 miles west of my current home, I named one of our trees The Fairy Tree because it looked like a place where fairies would reside. That was long ago, before phone apps that identified everything. Still don't know what kind of tree it was.
