“Life is so quickly over”, hence my gravitation to Buddhism and reincarnation. Only thing that ever made sense to me. Not only is life over quickly, it is so intensely and profoundly unfair, unbalanced and random. Why am I a white person in a society that values and rewards my whiteness, and a relatively healthy person — physically and mentally, and a economically stable person, and an educated person, and, and. . . when others are not, were born “not"? And, why were others born with so many more advantages than me? Hard to believe that we don’t get second chances, other experiences, that life/god doesn’t let us play the game more than once, doesn’t give us a chance to be the winning quarterback at least once.
