Love the names, Jean! We put peanuts-in-the-shell on our patio for the squirrels and the crows. Six to seven squirrels show up every morning. We did have two crows — a couple, I believe — who came regularly and sometimes, a third, but after we had three days of freezing temperatures, they haven’t returned. Certainly wasn’t cold enough to kill them! This is Florida, after all.
We named the couple Carlitos and Carlota. My husband has named several of the regular squirrels, too. And, of course, we have many ducks who come to eat cracked corn — some down by the lake and others on our patio.
I miss the crows. Hope they come back soon.
