Lovely poem and rose, Mia. We don't have many roses in our area. Too many pests attack them here in the summer. But, one man on a nearby street has a collection of white rose bushes that have continue to bloom despite the two hard freezes we've had and many nights that hovered at freezing. Such a joy to see his roses when I walk my dog along his street.
