Lynette, what a fabulous story! First, saving cats is a noble activity. Second, the name Mowgli is inspired. Third, your son’s home and grounds sound lovely. Fourth, cats do, indeed, play — our two were just playing this evening! And, finally, fifth, pets definitely can sense when loved ones are leaving. Our cat Tango will burrow under the sheets and covers to hide from the fact that we are packing to leave!

This story had it all — pets, animals, moving, family, a baby, and leaving. Lots of emotions there!
