I wanted to walk, I wanted to enjoy the day, but the day slipped through my fingers. Appointments, work, gathering information for my loan to buy a townhome, and taking my daughter and grandchildren to visit the home kept me hustling. My husband and I escaped for an evening dinner out. I wanted to eat on the outside patio, but the disappearing sun left us with a breeze too chilly for dining under the stars. Instead, we supped on delicious food and struggled to converse above the din of a too-crowded restaurant.
