Most people imagine South Florida (Miami) or Orlando (Disney World) when they think of Florida. It doesn't snow in South Florida ever. Orlando has once-in-a-lifetime flurries that amount to nothing. But, our area has a more clearly-defined winter. We have freezing temperatures but almost always the weather is dry when it's that cold. We have frost in the morning but it will be warm by noon. But, every couple of decades, we get some precipitation during a cold spell and ice or snow flurries develop. Rare but it happens!
