My former sister-in-law was diagnosed with pituitary cancer. That was about the time of your diagnosis, Susan. Her prognosis was better than yours IF she followed the doctors' recommendations of radiation and chemo. She didn't. She'd heard someone speak about the Hallelujah Diet and chose that path instead. Sounds very much like your choice of treatment. Vegan, mostly raw, 64 fl oz of fresh carrot juice a day (she turned orange, too), and elimination of as many chemicals in your life as possible - no makeup, no hair dye (that one was a challenge for her!) - stay as chemically-clean as possible. Her doctors at the Mayo Clinic were not pleased. But, she returned 6 months later and the cancer was gone. Not a trace. And, it's never returned.

I was always a writer but lived in a bookkeeper’s body before I found Medium and broke free — well, almost. Working to work less and write more.
