My granddaughter has obvious artistic talent, although she is brave enough to color outside the lines, so to speak. My grandson, on the other hand, doesn’t have an inkling of what we’d call artistic talent. Which is why, on the few occasions he’s chosen to be creative, we are amazed at the results. Not technically good but definitely creative and pleasing to the eye. He leans toward graphic abstracts and has drawn some amazing shapes and combinations.

Art is too broad, high, and deep to be defined. The definition of art is inside the artist.
