My husband is in charge of dishes and I wish this was his habit! When I was the dishwasher, there wasn’t a dish in the sink by bedtime. I have to bite my tongue every night when I walk by a sink heavily populated by dirty dishes as I head to bed! He will do the dishes but usually not on the day they were used. I have to let it go unless I am willing to take over that chore, and I definitely don’t want an additional responsibility!
