My readership hasn’t changed greatly but my income has. That’s a direct result of the Partners Program changes. It’s discouraging but I, fortunately, don’t depend on the income to keep the lights on. But, many do.

What I’ve also noticed is a complete cessation of curations. I typically had one to three posts curated each week. Haven’t had one in two weeks, in spite of several posts that have very high numbers of claps, highlights, and responses — much higher than some previously curated posts. So, my take-away is that poetry and the prose of writers who produce a lot of poetry won’t be curated anymore. We exist in the Medium shadows.

It’s disheartening to feel such a lack of respect and appreciation from the Medium staff.
