Never hear of a battery-powered lawn mower or one with headlights! Actually, sounds much like my vacuum.

I live in a townhome community. We have "gardeners" paid by our HOA dues. Notice the quotation marks. They are guys who know how to run riding lawn tractors and leaf-blowers. They are NOT gardeners or landscapers or competent. I hate leaf-blowers. To me, blowing leaves is the same as sweeping the dirt on the floor from one room to another and leaving it there. Idiotic. Lazy. They blow (in more ways then one) and I rake and bag. They are supposed to trim bushes in common areas and don't. I trim those near my unit. They don't pick up fallen branches, either. Will actual mow around them or if the branch blocks the area, they re-route their mowers. Ben and I or the woman next door pick up the branches and drags them to the street for the city to pick up.

Loved your discourse on the flag. Ben says if a house has a big American flag on display, you can bet the inhabitants are Trumpers. Turns out to be almost always true. They stole our flag and made it a symbol of hate and discord.

Enjoy your fall. Soon you'll have snow to shovel.
