Oh, how I love this garden-oriented life story, Nancy!

I gave up on vegetables in Florida (worse than Carolina). The heat and the pests require constant monitoring. Trying to grow organically without chemicals is an added challenge. And, I am too soft-hearted to chase the rabbits, squirrels, and deer away from the goodies they think I planted for them!

That was back in my country-living days. Now, in town, I stick to flowers and greenery, but I sure love reading about everyone else's vegetable gardens!
