Oh, I appreciate your suggestion and advice, maggie! Please don’t apologize. It was his opthamologist who discovered the stroke. My husband thought his vision problem, because he had no other typical stroke symptoms, was related to his cataract surgery. It was his eye doctor who said sent him to the ER. The doctor said Ben’s vision has to “settle down” before he can attempt to help. Right now, Ben’s vision fluctuates constantly. He has an appointment with the opthamologist at the end of the month to evaluate permanent damage and determine what, if anything, can be done to improve his sight.

I appreciate your concern and suggestion. This is a completely new experience for us.
