Our county library system has bi-annual book sales to make room for new purchases. Donated books are also for sale, as well as magazines, records, and CDs. There’s even a collectors corner of rare editions.

Those sales are huge successes with thousands of people attending and buying over a period that begins on a Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

When there I feel like a child in a candy store! In spite of the crowds and long lines, every book sale is a favorite memory.

How are you doing, Brett? Haven’t spotted you on Medium much recently. Hope all is well. Perhaps, you are simply busy with your photography. Just wanted you to know your presence and contributions are missed.

I was always a writer but lived in a bookkeeper’s body before I found Medium and broke free — well, almost. Working to work less and write more.
