Seems about right - the husband/father forgot he had a wife who recently gave birth. Then, he remembered and had to go find them because he forgot where they were!

We have a nesting Downy Woodpecker in a tree in front of our townhome. Mom stays with the babes. Sometimes I see her head poke out of the hole. Dad brings food.

BTW, original names - Mr & Mrs C - how long did it take to come up with those? 😉
