Short as a pig’s kick does refer to the shortness of a pig’s leg and therefore, his kick. It’s a Spanish/Argentinian saying. Ben’s mom used it often for many “short” references.

Saturday, Sunday and yesterday were in the mid-’80s. Heck, it was 75 at 10:00 last night! Today is a little cooler — the high ‘70s. Looks like these temps will be consistent for at least the next 10 days. It’s summer or so it seems. March can bring surprises, though!

We’ve had breakfast on our screened porch the last two morning. Perfectly comfortable.
