Similar to the turtles that amble up from the lake and lay eggs, Jack. By morning, all that's left is the shells - soft, jelly-like pieces. Sometimes I wonder how these creatures manage to ever successfully produce and raise young. Well, the turtles don't raise young. They lay and leave. Still, you'd think they'd have better instincts. Sorry for you and Deb and Bun-bun.
