Some friendships are like ground fog; they disappear with the sun.

Robin, last week, I experienced an awakening in regards to my "friendship" with a co-worker. A work friendship - not close, not personal, but one that I thought held genuine admiration and appreciation. A three-year relationship with someone I trusted, someone I thought had my back. I was wrong. It hurt, but I'm thankful to find out now before I invest more time in our relationship. Believe people when they show you who they truly are. Be grateful because knowledge is power.
