Sounds lovely!! You must share some photos with us, Ann.

Our HOA is lenient or too busy trying to catch up with all the regular maintenance that our old HOA did not do to worry about birdfeeders. Technically, the front garden areas and the common areas are the responsibility of the HOA, while owners have free range with their small back garden areas. But, for years the HOA only mowed, blew leaves, and butchered azaleas. Dead plants were not replaced. Nothing was fertilized. In disgust, many of the owners took over their front gardens and did whatever the hell they wanted. That was the case when I purchased from Kathy. I’ve taken it even further, turning one of my front sections into a rock garden with large aloes and the other is a jungle, what I call guerilla gardening. I plant so much so thick that the weeds have no chance! I was worried when we contracted with a more responsible HOA management company three years ago that they would enforce the rules. So far, nothing. Honestly, I think it makes our townhomes more interesting to have different and unique gardens in the front that can be seen by the public.
