Surprisingly, I do sleep. I couldn’t do all I do, Lorraine, if it weren’t for my retired husband. He does most of the cooking, takes care of our many pets, does all of the laundry, handles the trash and recycling, and cleans the kitchen and our back porch, which we use nearly every day. I do the rest of the housework, which isn’t too bad since we down-sized to a smaller home last year. I also do the gardening, but we are in a townhome and only have a small patch in the front and two in the back that are the responsibility of the owner, rest is taken care of by the association. However, my husband no longer drives due to medication he takes, so I am the chauffeur. I do get tired of all the driving but I really can’t complain. He makes it possible for me to work long hours and have a little creative time.
