Susan, I fell in love with poetry when, at the age of nine, I discovered my father's book of The Complete Poetical Works of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. I memorized A Psalm of Life that day and still remember it almost 60 years later. I recited it at my elementary school graduation. Thanks so much for sharing a Longfellow poem with us.
