Sweet, Agnes, your doubts are not only understandable, but expected in the current world situation. We are all under a lot of unusual stress. We fail to give ourselves credit for what we accomplish every day under the cloud of a pandemic.
You are an inspiration to everyone who reads your work. Yes, things might be slow for you right now or maybe, you feel unmotivated. Who doesn't in this topsy-turvy world? Give yourself some space.
Be as kind to yourself as you are to others.
I am recently semi-retired. After spending years and years working 50+ hours a week and helping to raise 2 grandchildren, I had a list of home to-do projects that I was itching to start.
But, no sooner did my work hours decrease by half that I was lethargic and wanted to do nothing but nap. I chastised myself for being lazy until Ben reminded me that I have worked very hard all my life and I helped to raise 2 grandkids and I am living in a pandemic. He told me to allow myself room to rest.
I did for several weeks and now, I am starting on those projects and writing more on Medium.
Don't be so hard on yourself. We are all swimming in uncharted waters.
