Terry, this is one of the warmest stories I’ve read on Medium, as well as the perfect response to the Treasures prompt. You covered many bases — the love one person has for another, caring for someone, the love of a pet, missing a departed loved one, baking. I felt warm and cozy and hugged as I read your piece. Doesn’t get much better than that!

Thanks for providing the recipe. Unfortunately, my husband is diabetic and I work long hours, so baking is not something I do anymore. But, I am sure other readers will give the bread a try.
