I used to buy a pre-mixed chai from an online site. It was tasty and certainly easy to prepare. A bit too sweet for my tastes but the spices were well-balanced. The site has disappeared and I haven't found another brand that I like as well.

I can only drink chai in the cooler months. I will give your recipe a try - hmm, maybe, in November if we cool off by then.

It's a challenge to get fresh spices here, especially the ones used in chai. Those are "warming" spices and not so popular in the hot, humid semi-tropics. But, I am sure I can buy some online.
