Thank you, Christine. I think Ann was being protective of her profession, which I can appreciate. She's also emailed me when we started this dialysis journey and offered to answer any questions we might have. I'd already done my research by that point, but it was kind of her to offer, and it's soothing to know that she's willing to help if I need her.

You and so many others have been amazingly supportive of Ben and me, Christine Having this space to write and to receive so many encouraging and sympathetic responses has been unbelievably helpful. I don't know how I would have gotten through the last two months without my Medium friends. I will be forever grateful.
