I do feel greatly isolated, but then, I have since the pandemic started in 2010 and my state and many of my co-workers and neighbors chose to ignore safeguards. But, yes, this is a different isolation. Many people definitely want and expect me to be "back to normal" after 6 1/2 weeks. I wonder if I will ever feel "normal" because nothing in my life is normal as I've defined it for two decades. I feel as though I will live outside the lines of normal until I too leave this earth.
