If you read my responses to Erik Smith, Christine, you will see that I continued hosting Thanksgiving, as much as I disliked it, for the children in the family who had only known Thanksgivings at my house. And, now, 15 years after leaving that marriage and family, I don’t even know those people, in spite of being one of them for 28 years.
