Thank you, Tej. As a grandparent, I have intense fear about the opening of schools. Although I miss my grandchildren desperately, I am so relieved they aren't here in Florida when the governor is insisting the schools re-open in just a few short weeks. I am also relieved that my grandkids have the option of homeschooling if the schools in their state open and my daughter doesn't feel it's safe for them to return. I've read several Medium pieces from teachers who are terrified to return to school. And, our leaders don't seem to care.
