Thanks, Erik. The truth is the truth. We can’t keep sugar-coating the situation here. I am all for people fighting back in whatever way they can — especially voting — but optimism at this point will defeat us. We can vote in the best of the best and still, there will be little change for a very long time. We have to know that, otherwise, we, meaning all the liberal Americans, will fall into an even deeper despair.

And, sorry to tell you, but the rest of the world is being punished too.
