Thanks, Erik, for your kind words. Unfortunately, distance is the problem. Distance and time. So many people don’t understand that this experience is more like having your children taken away rather than your grandchildren. I raised them. They think of me as a parent more than a grandparent.

Nothing I can do about the situation and don’t know I would if I could. I believe, and I hope I am right, that this move will, in the long run, be good for them. A better life, much better schools, more opportunities. I have to believe that or I would be on the road to bring them back right now!
