Thanks, Sherry. The last phone conversation was the most heartbreaking. The kids talk about things I don’t know and have never seen and they are already losing interest in what’s going on here. I didn’t expect that to happen so soon, especially not before they start school. My daughter also said the people there are not friendly and the population is predominantly white. She, her new husband, and the kids are Hispanic. She said she can’t even find anyone who speaks Spanish. There is no diversity other than a few Asians and East Indians. Definitely not what they are used to and not the kind of environment I like for the children.
