That man or others cannot silence you. You roar. Others roar. More will roar. What we write and discuss and say and scream is heard. But, I honestly believe these issues must be brought to the streets, although there is great fear and concern about public demonstrations. I don’t put it past the powers from Trump to local sheriffs to open fire on protesters.

Obviously, I’m not talking about pussy-hat marches organized by privileged white women. The grassroot organizers must be those who are harmed the most by our nation’s racism, sexism, and all the other isms that keep people down.

We have to hurt businesses and corporations in their wallets and force change through the marketplace as well as in public view.

I am a child of the '60s and remember King and his marches and the Vietnam protests. Unfortunately, we’ve become people who hide behind walls, only shouting our truths through computers.
