The fern forest was interesting although I didn’t see any of the wildlife they promised in advertisements. In fact, I only saw ants — lots and lots of ants — many dropping from trees when I paused to take a photo!

I have more photos of the fern forest that I will post on W&W. The ferns were lovely but due to very low light, photography was a challenge.

I have a soft spot for iguanas, having had one as a pet when I was a child. Unfortunately, wild iguanas are reluctant to pose for photos! They scattered every time I approached. When entering the subdivision, you have to drive over a small bridge that spans the canal where most of the iguanas live. Inevitably, when crossing the bridge, a car has to stop to let iguanas cross the road!
