The same with me, Christine, I started off writing fictional stories, mostly based on true occurrences in my family, as well as other longer pieces, but my readership skyrocketed when I started writing poetry. I was pushed in that direction and making money at it, but now, hardly anything.

I don’t mind. I mostly wrote poetry in my youth and it’s great to be creating poems again, even if the money isn’t there.
