There is nothing open about Florida records. What was supposed to be open and “in the sunshine” is as mired in darkness as bats in a cave. Florida governments, state and local, are as corrupt as they come. Governor Scott’s stench seeps through every aspect of the legal system here which was already stinking. You can’t elect a criminal to the highest position in a state and expect honesty and fairness in government or legal processes. There are many people like Hurchalla who go bankrupt trying to exercise their rights and trying to protect the natural Floridian environments that they cherish. What makes Florida special is what the dastardly politicians and businesses destroy to make a profit. Big Sugar is the Southern mafia.

I admire what Hurchalla is doing but the battle, as well as the war, are already loss.
