We are cut from different cloth, Annie! I have so enjoyed chronicling my work for this challenge that I plan to continue for myself.

I am toying with participating in The Artist Way project. Did it many years ago but don’t think I finished all the exercises. Morning Pages will never happen. Since I work such long hours, mornings are the few times during the day I can spend quietly with my husband and pets. Not giving up that.

It irritates me that so many of these challenges, the kinds that are to make us better people or writers, require activities early in the morning. If your current schedule doesn’t allow for the time you need in the morning to accomplish all the self-improvement tasks, you’re supposed to get up earlier. One in three adults isn’t getting the recommended number of hours of sleep, resulting in moodiness, depression, anxiety, weakened immunity, memory and concentration issues, high blood pressure, etc. So, let’s sleep less so we can write Morning Pages, meditate, read religious texts, do yoga or Tai Chi, run, walk, organize, whatever! Let’s do more and sleep less! Not happening in my house!
