We do lose thousands to auto accidents and we would lose thousands more if we didn’t require driver licenses, have driving laws, and maintain our streets and highways.

Same with this. We’ve lost thousands to the virus and we must do our best to not lose double or triple that amount. Hence, orders are in place. We also need to ramp up the PPE supplies we have in hospitals and for our medical personnel, as well as virus testing and the supplies needed to treat patients.

We can never eliminate all risks of everything, but we can limit many, especially risks created by others who are exercising there “personal rights”.

That’s what this is about.

May I suggest you look for property in upstate Alaska? Most likely, you can snub your nose at most laws there, even walk naked in the woods.

I was always a writer but lived in a bookkeeper’s body before I found Medium and broke free — well, almost. Working to work less and write more.
