Well, you know I am a fan of yours, Lindsay, and I agree with all you said about Medium. This is my playground. It’s my coffee break, my recess, my alone time. I, too, don’t get thousands of claps but each one I receive is appreciated and treasured.

I have a tribe here. They have my back; they encourage and inspire me. Some faithfully clap and/or comment on nearly every contribution I post. Others show up now and again. These are people I’ve never met but who feel like friends.

Without Medium I wouldn’t have found my voice that was misplaced for so long. I hadn’t written creatively in years and now I write several times a week.

I read and I learn and I marvel at the talent that occupies this space. Medium exposes me to people who think like me and many who don’t, allowing me to contemplate what makes us alike and what fosters our differences, giving me the opportunity to see life from a different angle and to appreciate a different point of view.

I would do my happy dance now but I am laying in bed with a cat on my tummy!
