Well, you will have to be hopeful for both of us, Wade! And, yes, I did vote - early - and results aren't great but not as bad as we liberals feared. Our country is so divided, and this election was evidence of how deep the divide is. Personally, I've stayed away from the news. I have enough problems in my life with Ben's health without adding the stress of horrible national situations that I cannot change.

I completely understand how difficult it was to decide to move and how the decision probably also gave you some relief. I recently made the decision that if Ben leaves this earth before me - which is probable since he is 15 years older - I will move to New England to live with my daughter and her family. I never thought I would even consider moving north, but after dealing with all the healthcare issues with Ben, I realize there would be no one here to do the same for me. And, my daughter always hoped she could convince me to live them at some point. It wasn't an easy decision to make but one that gave both Ben and me a sense of relief. He has always worried about what would happen to me when/if he goes first.
