What a fabulous birthday outlook, Sadhana! You didn't lament or whine about the lack of traditional celebration. Instead, you found a depth of good in the "new" celebration.

I think many of us are learning the meaning of community and neighbor during this crisis. It's been so important that we remember and reach out to our neighbors, even those we don't know well.

It's also easy to ignore a birthday that can't be celebrated traditionally. Instead, we should make an even greater effort to find ways to make those birthdays and other personal celebrations even more special. We all need that feeling of appreciation, especially when our lives are upside-down.

Thank you for providing the first response to my Celebration Memories prompt!
