Now, “first rattlesnake of the season” — how many do you typically have and is that one in someone’s car??? There are rattlesnakes here, mostly in the country where I once lived but I never saw one on our three acres. Did have a coral snake kill one of my dogs, though. It was so tragic.

There are bears here in Florida but I’ve never seen one around where I live or even where I lived in the country. There is a national forest south of here that is home to many.

Where we lived two years ago, even though right in the middle of the city, we often saw coyotes or evidence of them. I believe one got my cat Jolly-Mon who liked to hunt mice in the creekbed that the coyotes ran. That happened before the coyotes became so prevalent. Haven’t seen any on the side of town where we live now.
