What a fun experience despite the cold, Kim! My neighbor recently moved from Florida to Wisconsin where she lives across from Lake Michigan. Those northern lake winds are wicked. She and her poor dog haven't adjusted at all. I imagine the cold near such a large body of water is much different than the cold you have in Nevada.
